The beef between Omari Hardwick and 50 Cent on how “Power” ended is far from over.

During a recent panel appearance, Hardwick spoke about his disappointment with how the show ended. If you remember, “Power” ended with Hardwick’s character, James St. Patrick, being shot and killed by his son, Tariq. This ending led to the spinoff of “Power Book II: Ghost.”

Hardwick and a lot of fans were not happy with Ghost being killed by his own son. During the panel, he said, “I have so much empathy for the fans, bro. Because you were sold and told a story that did not continue in the way that it was sold and told to me that it would continue. So, you have every right to be hitting me up at every airport, every bus stop.”

The actor was referring to his character trying to get out of the drug dealing business and do things the legit way. However, viewers witnessed Ghost being pulled deeper into the drug scene. “We often forget that the fans are being sold and told a story that has a genesis and that it has to end the way that it was sold and told to end,” he added.

However, 50 Cent was not happy about Hardwick’s comments and clapped back on social media. “This [ninja emoji] is a strange bird. The f*** is he talking about, I never done nothing but look out for him.”

He continued, “If he needed something I gave it to him. I understand now, that s*** didn’t matter.”

How did you feel about Ghost being killed by his son Tariq? Do you agree with Omari Hardwick’s point of view?
