Omarion believes in spreading his love around.

In a recent interview on Sherri, he shared his thoughts on ethical non-monogamy or having multiple romantic partners.

“I would say for me being open is important, and also—you know, the women just truly outnumber the men, you know what I mean?,” Omarion told host Sherri Shepherd.

“I love this conversation because I think when men are open and honest that they don’t wanna have just this one thing for the rest of their life,” he added. “It gives a woman an opportunity to choose and to further understand a man because I think that women don’t really understand a man.”

“Certain women do, but there’s a larger conversation that has to be had about understanding men and how, you know, we’re meant to spread our seed,” he concludes.

Along with ethical non-monogamy, Omarion also shared that he was celibate for three years as part of his spiritual practice.

“At that particular time in my life, I was on a spiritual journey. I was studying more to just really ground myself—being a child prodigy in this business, always reaching for another level of success, you know, you forget to ground yourself,” he said.

The former B2K lead singer’s comments echoed similar remarks he made in an interview on Shannon Sharpe’s Club Shay Shay podcast.

“It’s been a while since I’ve actually been in a ‘girlfriend boyfriend’ type of relationship. But I think a private life is a happy life. I believe that she finds me,” Omarion said in 2023. “It might be shes. Shes might finds me. Plurals. Shes. I’m just saying if I really thought about my lifestyle and being with me—the pressure of being with me and it just being one woman. I don’t know if that exists.”
