Pastor Jamal Bryant and Dr. Karri Turner are officially married.
The couple tied the knot but decided not to go the traditional way. Instead of wearing the traditional white dress, Dr. Karri Turner wore a pink jumpsuit, and Pastor Bryant wore an Olive Green suit. However, Dr. Turner wore a white gown to the wedding reception.
She went on Instagram and posted a few photos of them after their nuptials with a caption that read, “If a picture is worth a thousand words… then I’ve got a million… Stay Tuned! #BetOnBryants.”
She continued under the post, “I wore a Pink Jumpsuit for the wedding and wanted to wear a White Dress to the reception… so I did. I dress for me, lol, and now my man, not people. The goal was to simply feel beautiful, and I did.”
She added, “Do what is authentic to you! And in the words of my sister, who styled me @joycesheffield_, ‘Do You, and Leave People in the boxes they came in.’”
Pastor Bryant also shared his excitement about marrying the love of his life. “It feels like a fairytale and a dream that came true! The Lord brought me the most brilliant and beautiful woman in the universe and now I get to call @mzkarribaby my wife… stay tuned.
Pastor Jamal Bryant announced his engagement to Dr. Karri Turner on May 28, 202, during Sunday Service at New Birth Missionary Baptist Church. During the announcement he said, “Sometimes your blessing will be right in front of your eyes, and you don’t even know,” he began in the video. “You don’t even know what God’s got for you. An amazingly beautiful woman, an amazingly brilliant woman, last year she graduated with her doctorate, and I saw her walk across that stage and get her doctorate, and the Lord said, ‘You big dummy, what are you waiting on?’”
Pastor Bryant was previously married to “Real Housewives of Potomac” star Gizelle Bryant from 2002 to 2009 and they share three daughters. Their marriage ended due to the pastor’s infidelities.
