Reality star Phaedra Parks has found love again, and this time, it’s with a younger man. The 51-year-old Real Housewives of Atlanta alum recently opened up about her blossoming relationship, revealing playful details about her new beau.
“I met him on Married to Medicine,” Parks shared in an interview, hinting at the serendipitous way her romance began. She credited co-star Latesha “Sweet Tea” Lunceford for introducing the couple, calling the event where they met “the best event of the season.”
Lunceford herself is no stranger to age-gap relationships, and it appears she was instrumental in sparking the connection. Parks noted that Lunceford “witnessed it all unfold,” adding, “Good old Sweet Tea, honey, she’s an expert in this department!”
Phaedra Parks Lighthearted Approach to Love
Parks made it clear that her relationship is more about enjoying the moment than planning for the future. “I’m just having fun,” she said. “It’s nothing so serious, and I don’t know if I’ll ever be serious again.”
The reality star has been candid about her reluctance to remarry, particularly after her tumultuous marriage to Apollo Nida, with whom she shares two sons, Ayden, 14, and Dylan, 11.
“I have no desire to remarry,” Parks explained. “I wanna keep all my money. Women know when you have a husband, sometimes you have to be… nice.”
Despite her reservations about tying the knot again, Parks acknowledged the benefits of dating someone younger. “When you’re in your 30s, you can do most things and not be sore in the morning,” she quipped. “Maturity might sometimes be a disadvantage, but there are more advantages than disadvantages with a young guy.”
A Busy Year Ahead
Aside from her budding romance, Parks has kept her schedule packed. Between competing on Dancing with the Stars, participating in The Traitors, and returning to RHOA, she’s expanding her reality TV résumé.
Reflecting on her return to RHOA, Parks teased, “It’s going to be an amazing season. It’ll definitely remind fans of the original Housewives they fell in love with.”
For now, Parks seems content balancing her career, family, and playful romance, proving she’s thriving in every area of her life.
