Prosecutors in Diddy’s trial have addressed the claims that they leaked the video of the disgraced media mogul assaulting Cassie.

According to reports, the prosecutors submitted a court motion responding to Diddy’s motion accusing them of leaking the footage and handing it to CNN. The document states that federal agents looked for the video early in their investigation into Diddy but couldn’t find it.

They also state that the video reappeared after it was shown on CNN on May 17th, as they claim that they don’t have the original copy. We reported that a video was released of Diddy physically assaulting his then-girlfriend, Cassie, in a hotel hallway back in 2016.

The video would play a significant part in the sexual and physical abuse allegations that Diddy is currently facing. He continues to believe that federal agents were responsible for leaking the footage, but the government continues to deny the claim.
