Rapper and game streamer DDG is accusing Halle Bailey of keeping their son from him.
The former couple’s split has taken a bitter turn since announcing their break up last fall. On his livestream, the rapper claimed his ex is deliberately limiting his access to their 1-year-old son, Halo, amid their ongoing co-parenting struggles.
According to DDG, Bailey would only allow him to see the child for a limited time, and he believes he is being treated unfairly.
“And it’s getting to a point where I feel like I’m honestly getting bullied when it comes to me just wanting to just be a dad… I just want to be able to see my son when I want to see my son, take my son when I want to take my son,” he shared with his viewers.
“I don’t care who she’s talking to, who she’s with, who she’s filming movies with,” he said. “I just care about my son. She knows this makes me frustrated. She knows this is the only way to get under my skin.”
DDG revealed that earlier that day, he had gone to Bailey’s home to spend time with Halo, only to be turned away.
“I planned my whole day to be with him. My whole day was around that. And then I get here, I get there and I can’t and I’m kicked out of the crib, can’t see him, whatever,” he claimed.
The former couple announced their separation in October a year after the birth of their son. But, tensions surfaced when Bailey criticized him for featuring Halo in a livestream fellow streamer Kai Cenat without her consent.
At the time she wrote, “Just so you know, I am out of town and don’t approve of my baby being on a stream tonight. I wasn’t told or notified. I am extremely upset to have my baby in front of millions of people.” Bailey then made an allusion to DDG’s lack of communication.
Halle added, “I am his mother and protector. And saddened that I wasn’t notified, especially when I am out of town.”
