Shareef O’Neal has officially signed with NBA’s Sacramento Kings.

The news about O’neal’s signing broke over the weekend. Before signing, he played for the NBA G League Ignite for the 2022-23 season. While signing  he also waived which means he will join Sacramento’s G League affiliate team, the Stockton Kings.

Reports say that the son of NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal and reality star Shaunie Henderson may be able to sign to the Kings with a two-way contract while still playing with the affiliate team. On her social media account, Henderson posted how proud of him she is.

“I’m so proud of you @shareefoneal I can’t even talk about this without crying. I know this was always your goal and the odds you beat to finally see it happen is beyond amazing,” she wrote.

She continued, “I prayed that you would never give up, that you wouldn’t be discouraged. I know you had some doubtful days but you consistently pushed through. This is so much bigger than basketball.”

Congratulations to Shareef O’Neal!
