Shawn Stockman of Boyz II Men, breaks his silence since the tragic passing of singer Angie Stone.

During an interview, Stockman said that he will always remember Stone for fighting for the rights of other artists. He also said that he would run into the “Brotha” singer although he didn’t personally but appreciated that she was all about fighting for what’s right.

Stockman went on to say that the Angie Stone was fighting for making sure that artists are paid what they are deserved, the same thing he and his fellow Boyz II Men bandmates are doing. He also said that the music industry was founded on “criminal activity by gangsters.”

Shawn Stockman said that his group was selling millions of records worldwide but still living in the hood. During his tribute, he called Angie Stone one of the greatest soul singers ever.

Angie Stone passed away 63 year-old after being involved in a tragic car accident. Her family recently released a statement about her untimely passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with the singer’s family and loved ones.
