Shyne is finally speaking his truth about the night that changed his life.

In the trailer for his new documentary The Honorable Shyne, he speaks on the 1999 club shooting that ended with him being arrested and serving 10 years in prison for it. He said that he was “set up to be the fall guy” in the entire incident.

It’s no secret that the rapper-turn-politician accused Diddy of blaming him for the incident. Back in September during an interview, he spoke out following Diddy’s arrest. “I was defending him, and he turned around and called witnesses to testify against me. He pretty much sent me to prison. So that is the context by which you must always describe that relationship.”

He continued, “Yes, I forgive and have moved on, but let’s not pretend I was in Miami for Thanksgiving and Christmas. This is someone who destroyed my life.”

The trailer is now playing on Hulu and the documentary is set to air on November 18.
