SZA wants to reach a new audience with her next two albums.

According to reports, the singer wanted to put out children’s music to fulfill her contractual obligations. She made the announcement on her X (formerly Twitter) account. “To fulfill my last 2 album requirements, I think I just wanna make peaceful children’s music n get outta here,” she wrote. “Then go be a farmer n donate the produce to underserved communities.”

The Grammy-award-winning singer appeared on Sesame Street last March, so this could be a fun thing for her to do. After her appearance on the children’s show, SZA reposted a tweet from 2017 looking to be on the show one day.

“GODS TIMING!!!,” she wrote. “FOLLOW YOUR DREAMS AND SAY THEM OUT LOUD!! NEVER GIVE UP!! ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE I BELIEVE IN YOU!!”

In a 2022 interview, SZA also revealed that she wanted to have children soon. “And it’s not even like I’m trying to do anything that’s groundbreaking or nontraditional or like, modern woman,” she said. “I just literally feel like it’s less stressful to think about like, ‘Who’s it gonna be? Are they trustworthy? Is this person going to really love me? Is this partner material?’ Versus being like, OK, this is the doctor I know I want to deliver my kids.”
