The son of rapper T.I, King Harris, 19, is expecting his first child.
T.I broke the news during a visit to Hot 107.9. The rapper joyfully revealed that he is not only a grandfather to two granddaughters but is also about to become a grandfather to a grandson.
“He just became a father so I got two grandchildren now,” he shared around the 14-minute point of the interview, seen below. “I got two granddaughters, I got a grandson on the way. King’s about to have a son. And I told him, I’m gonna make this the greatest gangster of all time.”
He joked that he’s going to help raise his grandson to “torture you the way you tortured me, I promise you there will be an indictment in this young one.” King Harris has yet to comment on the news, nor has he revealed who the mother is.
Within the past year, King Harris made headlines for various reasons, including an Instagram live session where he got into a screaming match with his parents as the three of them disagreed on King’s upbringing.
During the live you can hear T.I. and Tiny argue with King that he was raised with a silver spoon in his mouth, while King begged to differ.
“You cappin’, n***a … I know you though,” yelled King at one point during the argument. As Tiny attempts to deescalate the situation, King can be heard asking, “what’s wrong with y’all?” referring to his parents. “Why ya’ll doing that to me? Y’all know me, you know I stand on business. Why would you let someone play with me like that?”
Despite the ups and downs, T.I. reassured fans that he and King are on good terms, emphasizing the importance of family support as they navigate these new chapters in their lives.
T.I.’s eldest son, Domani, 22, welcomed a daughter earlier this year, while his stepdaughter Zonnique Pullin, 28, previously welcomed a daughter in 2020.
