The Game is set to embrace fatherhood once more at the age of 44. During an appearance on the Tacos & Shawarma podcast, the rapper, already a father of three, shared the news. Contrary to swirling rumors, he clarified he’s expecting just one child, not twins.

“Twins is… yeah, you gotta stay off the internet,” he remarked. “I’m expecting one child.”

The Game Inspired by JAY-Z

Discussing the prospect of becoming an older dad, The Game drew inspiration from fellow rapper JAY-Z. JAY-Z welcomed his eldest child, Blue Ivy, at 42, and twins Rumi and Sir five years later. This serves as a beacon of reassurance for The Game.

“I’m 44, so when my new child is 21, I’ll be 65. That seems kinda old until you start thinking about who’s 65 now,” The Game mused. “JAY-Z or somebody like that, their next big birthday is probably 60. They’re still out here looking young and cool, so it ain’t that bad.”

A New Parenting Perspective

The Game acknowledged that parenting this time around will be different. Reflecting on his past, he shared, “When I was younger, I was still a hardhead in the streets. I don’t know how I even made it to this point in my life doing the things that I was doing. But I made it, my kids are all fine, smart, straight A students, so it’ll just be interesting to parent at this age.”

The identity of the unborn child’s mother remains undisclosed. The Game’s eldest child, Harlem Caron Taylor, was born in 2003. His other son, King Justice, and daughter, Cali Dream, were born in 2007 and 2010, respectively.

On Harlem’s 19th birthday in 2022, The Game expressed his deep love for his children. “Happy Birthday son (@harlemtaylorr) you were & always will be the motivation I needed to alter my lifestyle & become something better than I ever was before your birth. Thank you,” he wrote on Instagram.

A new baby isn’t the only thing on The Game’s horizon. He revealed plans for a new album, The Documentary 3, set to drop in January to mark the 20th anniversary of his debut album. “I’m gonna go in hard and I’ma drop it the same day that the other one dropped,” he announced.
