Tia Mowry, best known for her role in Sister, Sister, is set to star in an exciting new holiday movie on Lifetime. The film, A Very Merry Beauty Salon, is part of Lifetime’s holiday movie lineup and marks Mowry’s latest collaboration with the network. This project also serves as the final installment in Mowry’s three-picture deal with Lifetime. Along with starring, Mowry will also take on the role of executive producer.

The movie follows Sienna, a beauty salon owner in Atlanta, as she prepares for the city’s glamorous annual Tinsel Ball. Sienna, played by Mowry, is not only focused on the event but also finds herself navigating unexpected romance. Lawrence, portrayed by RonReaco Lee, returns to town as a charismatic CEO whose family’s wine brand sponsors the ball. Sparks fly as the two are paired as dance partners, sparking a budding romance.

A Star-Studded Cast and Reunion

The film reunites Mowry and Lee for the first time since their days on Sister, Sister. Mowry expressed her excitement about working with Lee again, saying to Deadline, “It’s always wonderful to collaborate with talented people you’ve known for years. The chemistry is undeniable.” Alongside Mowry and Lee, the cast includes Donna Biscoe, Cocoa Brown, and Ashli Auguillard, adding even more depth to the storyline.

The film’s plot dives into themes of family, tradition, and unexpected love. Sienna’s mother, Georgia, played by Donna Biscoe, is head of the Tinsel Ball committee. Georgia is wary of Lawrence’s involvement and worries he may disrupt the cherished traditions of the event.

Mowry’s Holiday Spirit and New Ventures

Very Merry Beauty Salon promises to deliver holiday magic and a heartfelt story. Mowry’s involvement as an executive producer gives her creative control, allowing her to shape the narrative. “I’m thrilled to bring this project to life. It’s a fun, romantic story that also celebrates community and love,” she shared.

The movie will air as part of Lifetime’s highly anticipated holiday slate, joining other films like The Holiday Junkie and Christmas in the Spotlight. Fans can look forward to a season filled with festive charm and warmhearted stories.
