Tina Knowles is the latest celebrity to publicly endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris for POTUS.

Knowles made her support known on Instagram shortly after President Biden announced he would not seek reelection. The mother of two talented children posted a photo with Harris, accompanied by a caption expressing her excitement.

“New, Youthful, Sharp, energy!!!! You asked for it and our President Biden did what was best for the country! Putting personal ego, power, and fame aside. That is the definition of a great leader. Thank you, President Biden, for your service and your leadership. Go Vice President Kamala Harris for President.” She concluded with, “Let’s Go #kamala2024.”

Later Knowles shared a post from the account Hues and Culture to her page saying: “Kamala Harris is running for President, and the hate she’s getting is unreal. Remember what Malcolm X said: ‘The most disrespected person in America is the Black woman.’ Kamala’s got the credentials — from her political grind to her college smarts — not to mention no felonies on her record, which can’t be said about some of her opponents. She’s out here proving she’s more than qualified. It’s time we lift her up and give her the respect she deserves.”

The support from Knowles comes as no surprise. The 59-year-old Vice President attended Beyoncé’s Renaissance concert just outside of Washington after the superstar gifted her tickets.

On Monday, Beyoncé gave Harris the green light to use “Freedom” from her critically acclaimed 2016 album Lemonade for the anthem of her presidential campaign. The 59-year-old vice president strutted out to Freedom as she announced that she would run for the top job on the 2024 Democratic ticket.
