Tyrese made it clear that he was not up for being served lawsuit papers during his recent performance.
Reports state that the singer abruptly ended his performance in Georgia to allegedly avoid being served lawsuit papers over the weekend. While singing his hit, “How You Gonna Act Like That,” the singer was informed by a security guard that a process server was in attendance at the show.
This prompted Tyrese,45, to jump off the stage and quickly made his exit. Before leaving, he thanked his fans and expressed his gratitude to everyone who came out to support him. He is currently facing a $10 million libel and defamation lawsuit from Bryan Barber, who accused Tyrese of attacking his character and reputation during an interview.
Barber claims that “Tyrese refused to adhere to the previous 50/50 revenue split that they had agreed upon for the interview.”
This isn’t the first lawsuit that the “Signs of Love Making” singer is facing. We recently reported that he is being sued by his ex-wife, Norma Mitchell, for defamation as well.
