Tyrese Gibson is facing some new legal troubles.
He is being sued by his ex-wife, Norma Mitchell, for defamation as well as other things. Reports say that Mitchell filed the lawsuit against her ex in Los Angeles Superior Court. It alleges that the singer defamed Mitchell and “disclosed private information about their teen daughter, Shayla,” on social media.
She also claims that Gibson took their issues about his daughter’s tuition to social media and allegedly, “slammed Mitchell with a cruel barrage of derogatory and defamatory posts, including false accusations she has committed blackmail, extortion, death threats, tax evasion, forgery, bank fraud, wire fraud, and money laundering.”
Norma says that Tyrese knew that he wasn’t not supposed to post any information on social media in which he wrote, “Before they make me delete this post and the link with the full 167 pages of court documents with details [ receipts ] to back up everything GO THERE NOW.”
This lawsuit comes after Gibson accused Mitchell of extortion and death threats.
Tyrese is currently in the middle of divorcing his second wife Samantha Lee.
