This is going to be iconic! Wu-Tang Clan and Nas have announced that they will be kicking off a joint tour this summer and fall.
The “NY State of Mind” tour has a set start date of Aug 30 and tickets will go on sale on Tuesday, April 26th.
In an Instagram post, Wu-Tang Clan wrote, “This Summer we are bringing the heat with @Nas on our #NewYorkStateofMindTour. Coming to a city near you.”
Nas would also post the tour announcement on his page as well. The Queens-born rapper recently released two albums in 2021; Magic and King’s Disease II. He also performed at this year’s Grammys.
Wu-Tang Clan’s album Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) was inducted into the National Recording Registry along with The Low End Theory by A Tribe Called Quest and Songs in A Minor by Alicia Keys.
The group’s Hulu series, Wu-Tang: An American Saga is slated to return for a third season. The show is based on the lives of the group members during the 90s in New York, during the height of the crack cocaine era.
