Stars of WeTV’s Da Brat Loves Judy, Da Brat and Jesseca ‘Judy’ Du-Part have finally revealed that they are going to be having a baby boy.
Just a month after the couple announced that they were having a child, the two put together a gender reveal and shared it with the internet. The party guests were enchanted by a pink and blue themed party at their home. As for the Harris-DuPart couple, the two donned pink and blue hairstyles respective of their individual styles.
The gender reveal itself was quite the spectacle. Guests watched a timer on a screen countdown. Once it reached one, the screen read “It’s a boy!” A canon shot out blue confetti while everyone cheered.
Da Brat and Jesseca’s Relationship
Da Brat came out as a lesbian in 2020 after years of rumors surrounding her sexuality. She opened the world up to her relationship with the entrepreneur Jesseca ‘Judy’ DuPart. The two got married in 2022.
Just last month the couple revealed that they are having a baby. DuPart already has three children of her own from a previous relationship. This would be Brat’s first.
“I never thought I was going to have kids,” she said. “I just thought it wasn’t in the cards for me. I’ve had a great career, a full life. I felt like, because I didn’t get pregnant earlier on, then it just wasn’t going to happen for me.”
Da Brat said her outlook on life changed after meeting her now wife. “I started looking at life so differently,” she said. “I was like, I want a little me with you. Something special from the both of us that we can share and raise and love unconditionally.”
The two experienced a miscarriage last year and are excited to bring their miracle into the world.
