Janet Jackson’s 2004 Super Bowl performance is getting turned into a documentary!
Producers want to turn Janet Jackson’s 2004 Super Bowl performance into a documentary. It’ll revolve around Janet’s wardrobe malfunction during the halftime performance with Justin Timberlake, The Jasmine Brand reports.
At the end of the performance, they shocked the crowd when Justin ripped a pasty and exposed one of Janet’s breasts on National television as he sang, “I’ll have you naked by the end of this song.” For over a decade, Janet received negative backlash, meanwhile Justin didn’t get as much criticism.
Earlier this year, Justin apologized to Janet and his ex, Britney Spears. He said, “I specifically want to apologize to Britney Spears and Janet Jackson both individually because I care for and respect these women, and I know I failed. I also feel compelled to respond, in part, because everyone involved deserves better and, most importantly, because this is a larger conversation that I wholeheartedly want to be a part of and grow from.”
The upcoming project comes from Left/Right TV. They’re the same production company that brought fans the unauthorized documentary Framing Britney Spears.
