R&B supergroup, TGT, consisting of TyreseGinuwine, and Tank formed in 2007 and are still active.

On the 44th episode of the R&B Money podcast, Tyrese revealed that Atlantic Records has green-lit their sophomore album.

“I got some great news for you, Tank and J,” Tyrese said on the podcast. “Atlantic Records has officially agreed to sign TGT for a second album… yeah, congratulations.”

Although together on and off for years, TGT debuted their first album, Three Kings in August of 2013. Their first song in 2007 was a remix of Tank’s “Please Don’t Go” released as “Please Don’t Go (The TGT Remix)”.

Outside of the TGT group, each member has been and is currently working on individual endeavors.

Tyrese recently sat down with JusNik to discuss his forthcoming album, Beautiful Pain. He is also gearing up for his 10-city stop tour which kicks off on April 15th in Detroit.

After last year’s successful R&B Music Experience tour, Ginuwine is ‘so anxious’ for this year’s stint. With Chicago as the first stop, Ginuwine will be an opening act for Tyrese and Xscape alongside El DeBarge, Next, 112 and Silk.

Tank is currently serenading ladies as an opening act for New Edition’s “The Legacy Tour”. Tank is also a co-host of the R&B Money podcast, the same name as his tenth and final studio album. According to Apple Podcasts, the R&B Money podcast is a space for artists & executives to reminisce, with exceptional storytelling and a place of discovery for fans.
